Takshashila Gurukul Public School has been established in Shikrapur in Pune with the motive of imparting education by converging modern methods with ancient Indian learning techniques. We aim to provide an environment which is conducive to the holistic development of students. At Takshashila Gurukul Public School, we strive to develop a grounded value system in a child and provide him with skills to chart a fulfilling life.

Our Values Open or Close
Our teachers and staff uphold equality among each other and students. All students are treated at par with each other and no favouritism is shown towards any particular child.
We teach our students to be humble and modest. The activities planned in our school such as team projects and outdoor activities help students to coordinate with each other for successful completion of the assignments.
Students are taught to be honest. Teachers and staff members encourage students to speak the truth without fearing repercussion. Our policy is to deal with kindness and understanding with students so that they can become good human beings.
Our students are taught the value of time. Advice on time management is given out to students so that they wrap up their work while there is still time at hand.
As a school, we uphold the value of non-discrimination. Students, teachers and staff are not discriminated among based on caste, creed, religion, gender and other social parameter.
We stand for discipline and uphold the value on all counts. Our students have to adhere to a strict dress code, entry and exit time and regularity in attending classes for both academics and extra-curricular activities.
Takshashila Gurukul Public School stands for kindness towards all living beings. Students are encouraged to take care of animals and birds that are there on premise to develop their love for living beings.
Diligence among students is inculcated through a continuous assessment programme conducted in both curricular and co-curricular activities.
Nature Walk was conducted on 8th August, 2014. We took the students for a nature walk in the school premise, where teachers showed the students various plants, trees, flowers in and around the school. Teacher played games with the students. Red Day was conducted on 13th August 2014, where the students were dressed in Red Coloured Dresses. Teacher showed them various things (apple, red rose, cherries, strawberries etc.) which are Red in colour. Teacher asked students to colour the worksheets (apple). Read More..
